I will try to rant without profanity.

Who are these people and who gave them a boat license?

I waited until 645pm Sunday night to ski. Most of the boats were gone and the wind had died down. Having skied a good distance I stopped for a breather. I was in the water and my neighbor was in the boat. Two guys on a jet ski came screaming around the point, came with 20 feet of the boat and made a sharp turn to spray the boat with a sheet of water, laughing and screaming as they zoomed off. Just in case those two nimrods happen to be reading here - you are why I hate jet skis. And by the way, just in case you missed this part of the boat drivers test - this action is specifically addressed and it's called reckless driving. This also applies to skiers who go too close to piers or boats and spray people.

Monday morning - I went skiing before coming home. Just a few bass boats out on the lake. I was skiing just beyond Powell's Hideaway and 2 guys in a bass boat were just sitting there. The driver waited until we were just abreast of him and then he gunned it. He was between us and the shore maybe 30 feet away from me. Instead of going behind us, he passed on the right and then crossed in front of us. Just in case that nimrod happens to be reading here – did you read the section of the boat driving law about right of way? Or maybe you’re just stupid in addition to being rude and inconsiderate. I hope your tiny brain was able to verbalize the words that went along with the bird I shot you (as$%#le!).

Y’all are looking forward to summer and I am absolutely dreading it. I know people like this are out there all year long but warm weather brings them out in droves. I hate having to share the lake with rude, inconsiderate scofflaws.

If the marine police need more money for a greater presence on our waterways I have a suggestion. Tax boat tags more like car tags. That should bring in some cash.
