Now don’t take that term (extermination) as me coming out there to kill every living thing in range. Not how it works with me. Any game I takes is consumed. I try to waste as little as possible. People ask why I hunt wild game when I can go to the store and buy meat. Well, if you these people have a problem with killing why don’t they eat Bocca burgers and save a cow. J I know people that kill just to kill. That is not that way to do it in my opinion. But you have to understand there is an overabundance of geese so the state actually looks at them as nuisance animals, that is the reason for the special season. At my work in Bham we have a flock of 50 + / - . They are worthless around here. They are not nice. They hiss and growl at everybody, they crap all over the sidewalk. Not saying you are fibbing Strat cause I believe they will eat out of your hand. They cause plenty of problems and it is that way with any place of business on Hwy 280 that has a pond or lake close to it. These are wild animals in the city because there are so many. Another problem is they are still considered migratory birds, but they don’t migrate. Heck, why would they need to? They have everything they need to live right here. Same principal with the deer hunting at Oak Mountain State Park. So many deer that the herd had to be thinned out. But we could go on about this for days. Why? Because we all have our separate opinions which is a good thing. At least we have had civil threads on this subject and no one has threatened to kill me! hahahaha But as I said before, I am not here to stir the pot, or “troll” , just tossing out my point of view.
