Subject:   Battery question

I have used/owned/installed lots of battery tenders/low amp chargers. They are not really meant to bring a battery back from the dead, but usually maintain a batteries full charge status. From my experience, batteries don't like to go completely dead and if they have some age some don't/will not return to a full charge state. $3.99 sounds cheap! Usually, for a nice charger/tender you will pay $30+. Harbor Frieght has some cheap stuff, but I will have to admit...Usually it works as advertised. I bought a $49 solar charger for my pontoon boat in the pond, and it worked for about 3 years. Good luck. Sorry for the long post. Now, go hook it up and keep us posted... : )
