Bring your boat. The only concern is finding a place to launch in your area of the lake. Call ahead to find one. The lake will be at or near winter level. The lake is used heavily by fishermen in the winter. I used to have a 23' center console and used it in the winter with no problems launching at certain ramps. A positve about the low water in the summer is that there alot more beach to enjoy around the lake.
