He may be really smart, but so was Jimmy Carter.  I am not suggesting we compare the two other than it takes more than smarts to be effective.  Look at Reagan...nobody ever accused him of being an intellectual, but he was effective.

As of this point, I will vote for Herman Cain because he makes the most sense.  Were he to be elected, he too would have trouble being effective because there are just too many in influential positions in DC who are worshipers of "the DC way".  Doesn't matter if his suggestions make sense - if those suggestions step on establishment toes they will be stonewalled.

And Herman Cain is a black man who succeeded on merit, rather than quotas.  How about a Cain-West Republican ticket!!
