I would not own a condo because it would eliminate many of the things I love about lake living (feb listed many). I easily accept the fact that it's more work to own a house as a lake commuter.

That being said, I can see why some may like the idea. If you can put up with shared walls, docks, and space, a condo may be just the ticket.
