I would rather pay one of the states in our own country for the commodity than pay it to foreign countries to the tune of $700 billion a year. Imagine if even half of that stayed in this country.

But the answer Obama through out is inflate your tires and get a tune up and we will not have to drill. Great energy strategy. He does not even have a plan to implement. Now he talks about a 10 year goal to alternative fuels. Great, but what about today. It needs to be releasing known reserves in our country for drilling, expanding neuclear which every other country does ... it is cheap and safe. Better utilization of natural gas in commercial and maybe personal vehicles. Expanding wind power.
