Look closely at the state of Indiana and you will see what I am saying is 100% correct. His approval numbers have dropped to 45% (even worse with independents). In internal polls he is behind several potential opponents including John Hostettler, Dan Coats and others. Every single one of his proteges have gone down in flames in the last few years including including the governorship, the mayor Indy (who lost to an unknown GOP candidate with only $500K in campaign funds), he barely got Hillary the nod in Indiana for the primaries and even his choice for the Dem governor candidate lost. He has been pilloried on the left for being a supposed centrist and the right has discovered he votes with Obama 75% of the time. He has also been abused for his cozy relationships with Big Pharma and voted for the health care boobdoggle in exchange for $100M of our money for an Indy hospital.

Honestly Hound, do a little research before you tell me I'm wrong. You spend too much time watching MSDNC (formerly PMSnbc). As for McCain, I hope he packs it in and paves the way for a real conservative.
