It would seem that if you intend to kill people, there are many means available.  (remember the guy that drove into the crowd at the Christmas parade?). His car was his weapon of choice.  

No matter how many guns they ban, a person intent of evil will find a gun.  We get upset about a mass shooting at a school, yet pay hardly any attention to all the children that are killed by drive by shootings and random bullets.  They are supposed to be safe in their homes, in their neighborhood, in their cars.
