It's simple, really. Russell Lands has always been allowed to do whatever they want to whoever they want, and they make all the decisions, no questions asked. If you want to survive on the lake, you don't question them.
For instance, let's see how long this one stays up: Ponder this, everyone: in 1999, Cecil's at Kowaliga burned to the ground, in part because the FD tried to put out the fire using fans. (Both the fact that fans were used, and that in this case it was an incredibly stupid idea, were confirmed by a fireman on this site.) Yet, when Sinclair's opens, guess what it's decorated with? If you said "Old pictures and sheet music that was supposedly lost in the fire," you'd be right! Kind of makes you want to say "Hmmmmmm," doesn't it?
Oh, one more thing: that "mysterious" fire happened shortly after Russell Lands asked Greg Cecil to back out of the last 7.5 years of a 10-year lease; he refused. And what a coincidence, his restaurant burned to the ground not long after.
So, is anyone still curious as to why negative posts about Russell Lands and RL marinas get deleted? Let's just say Bruce has a strong self-preservation instinct.
