For myself it was a way of identifying myself as someone who would be affected by the boat ban. An alias is just that. I guess I should change my alias to criminal now that the law has passed? The reason we use these names is because people can associate us with our names when we meet up at the lake. It is called name recognition... My boat has a name printed on it, perhaps I will change my alias to that so when you see me you can waive and stop in to BS with us...?
