Sorry I dont remember the exact date of an event from 27 years ago. I was also paying attention. I lived less than 100 yards from the Coosa River AMD had a place on Martin.

It wasn't a one day event. It was a VERY wet spring. The rains would stop for a few days, the rivers would recede and then another storm system would come through. All the lakes and rivers were swollen to record heights. Look the exact date up yourself if it is that important to you.
