Until a few hours ago I assumed that tonight's Hall of Fame game was going to be carried on one of the network channels or on ESPN. And when I learned that the game is being carried exclusively on the NFL NETWORK, I almost cried. No, Charter doesn't carry the NFL NETWORK.

From the NFL NETWORK's website, I learned that it is every football fan’s dream, a network devoted solely to the most popular sport in America - - professional football. And that NFL NETWORK has been working hard to ensure that the network is available on your BASIC CABLE lineup like popular channels MTV, TNT, USA, and ESPN, without ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS being passed along to the fans.

So why doesn't Charter carry it ? Your guess is as good as mine. But if you go to the NFL NETWORK website at http://www.iwantnflnetwork.com/, you can send Charter a message letting them know that you would like to have the channel included in the BASIC CABLE lineup.

It would really be nice to have a dedicated NFL channel that doesn't cost the subscriber a dime. Please . . . go send Charter a message.
