It would be unusual for any leak between the house and tank to expose itself above ground unless there is a stoppage of some kind which would result in a backup into the house ,, or,, the waste is pumped and the discharge line from the house has broken.

Does your waste pipe gravity drain or is the waste pumped to the tank?

If you gravity drain, I would suspect a septic tank or field line problem more than a plumbing problem.
