Ya gotta kill 'em. Had the problem in two houses and the only way we were able to get rid of them was to kill 'em. If they raise a family in your attic they will literally die trying to get back to that nest the next year. We trapped some of the babies, repaired their entry point into the house and the next year they came back--chewed up the soffit on all four corners of the house until they were able to gain entry.

My wife even learned to shoot a pellet gun (no firearm discharge within city limits) and killed a couple in the back yard. Don't get that woman mad!

For some reason they always enjoyed nesting over our bedroom--so we could enjoy hearing 'em run all night.
