I was raised in Taxachussetts and consider myself an independent. I try to vote for the candidates that will succeed on behalf of the country for where the country is at a point in time.

Did all you self proclaimed conservatives bash Bush and Cheney for the wonderful job they did? Will you bash whomever the Repubs put in the office in the backdraft of Obama (assuming you don't have a valid candidate other than Palin)? Didn't think so.

The same problems that are in Congress seem to be present in posts here. All sides like to bash and bash often. Oddly, only the country receives the pain.

The system doesn't work anymore, nobody worth a damn will likely run leaving lesser of two evil elections.
