They call them "Anchor Babies". I used to employ a Mexican that was a US citizen. She said that the Mexicans laugh at us. She says they come over pregnant or get pregnant asap then wife claims she lives alone in the apartment and has no income, gets food stamps and all kinds of assistance incuding medicaid for the baby while husband works for cash, files no tax return and lives at home with the family. The social services are so overwhelmed they can't possibly keep track of all this.
We are the only developed country that still allows this. It's all political. Each party thinks they can get the burgeoning hispanic vote and won't do anything to alienate the illegals.
