BS is already walking. Why do you have to have a mechanic with you? You gave the advice with the implication you knew how to do it. You can't do it so you have someone that can, ie my team, wtf? No one said it can't be done. Cat said you were going to hurt someone. I say the average person that reads your advice and followed it, BELIEVING THEY WERE DOING IT RIGHT, would burn their boat to a crisp, or at least the wiring harness. And when they say K.A. said that's all you have to do, who will pay the damage.
Now, if you want to put your money where your mouth is, I'll take your bet, and as Charlie puts it, you're going to regret it. My Dad, God rest his soul, taught me not to bet against another man's game, BUT, leave your mechanic at home, you do it yourself and I bring the vehicle, I'll take your bet. Oh yeah, when you damage the vehicle you pay for it's repair as well. What say you, you in? My bet is you'll back pedal at this point. Anyone want in on this bet?

The following comments are from someone that doesn't realize when he has made a stupid comment. Here are 2 recent ones.

If I were drunk and driving a boat or a car and killed someone. I would leave the scene and show up when I was sober. Putting myself at less risk of a life sentence. (Doesn't want to pay the fiddler for the song)(Stereotypical of the profession)
