A few headlines from today -

The Dow industrials fell more than 200 points, as economic data boosted concerns about a slowing economy

U.S. manufacturing slowed sharply in May, according to ISM data. Meanwhile, ADP said private businesses added just 38,000 jobs in May as large companies cut workers.

Home prices have sunk to 2002 levels, effectively wiping out almost a decade's worth of home equity across the U.S. and imperiling the fragile economic recovery.

And best of all -

Republican leaders said they told President Barack Obama at a White House meeting Wednesday that he needs to offer up a detailed plan to reduce the federal budget deficit, a call they said Obama rejected
