Sporadically this summer there was a rumor floating around that APCO would lower the water level up to 10ft to repair a part on the dam...... below was my question to LMLPA and in the next post was their response.

Could you please help put a RUMOR that is running rampant around the lake to rest. Rumor is that "APCO is going to take the water down X (7 to 10)feet to fix a_______ (part-leak) and would be down for some time while repairs are made." People (more than one) are saying that they have talked to a person that made the part for the repair. I know in the past someone with LMLPA checked with their APCO contact to dispell the rumor - Could you please do this again so we can put the rumor to rest. - again.
