One of the first things I do with a laptop is put a piece of black tape over the camera. But think about it...that cell phone camera that allows you to take beautiful pictures can be controlled from afar. Your cell phone is a computer that is connected to the internet...Apple, Samsung, and other cell phone manufacturers write the software code that is installed on them and can easily include code that instructs the camera and microphone to activate and send the picture and voice wherever they like.
