2020 was a record year for voter turnout compared with recent presidential years.

 

17 million more voted than in 2016.  66.8% 0f the registered voters vs. 61.4% 

Black turnout up 3% from 60% to 63% but still below 2008's 67% and 12% of the total

Hispanic turnout up 6% from 48% to 54% and 11% of the total

Non-Hispanic white turnout up 6% from 65% to 71% with 71% of the total vote being white

 

Inspite of conventional wisdom it looks as if it was the white folks that elected Biden instead of the blacks and it appears a hell of a lot of the white folks that voted for Trump in 2016 didn't vote for him in 2020!  Thanks be to GOD!!
