I've lived through 4 recessions--I remember 17.5% 30 year mortgages & gas only available a few days a week, but i dont remember food prices escalating like they are today--a family with 2-4 kids must really be feeling the pinch--I just left grocery store   and literally saw 4 workers changing price stickers on items
