Every year we go through this same thing about the snakes. Snakes are a natural phenomena around the lake and in the wooded areas. Russell Lands changed the name of Rattlesnake Ridge to " The Ridge " in hopes that they would go away. I wonder why it was named Rattlesnake Ridge? Uuuuuuuuuummmmmmm?

Well if you come to the lake you're going to have them along with bugs, spiders, and alot of other icky little multilegged creatures that simply won't go away because you have appeared on the scene. Deer, opossum, rats, mice, roaches, lady bugs, coons! You name it and some of them are just waiting for you.

Now to my puzzlement. Who holds the head and who holds the tail while you people measure to determine how long the snakes are? When I see one I can't get close enough to determine what variety they are much less measure them. And I'm not even afraid of them. Just respect them and please don't kill them. And when one of your little tykes sees one teach them about it. Caught 12 bass yesterday. Peace.
