This discussion has gotten to be a name calling board. Isn't it obvious that Dial and the other developers have other reasons for making this bill a law? Dial is a developer. Why did the georgia boys get him to introduce this bill???????????? This just fit the feelings some folks have had about " big fast boats " wheather it's jealousy or safety reasons.
It doesn't take a brain surgeon to see that more condos and more houses on the lake means more boats, big and little. Now from what I've seen, the smaller the craft the higher the accident rate. The bigger the boat the higher the noise decibles. Waves and wakes are the responsibility of the boat captain.
Dial and his gang are running a GOB ( GOOD OLD BOYS ) play on everyone. They have other motives for this bill. Why were the other lakes let out of the bill so quickly? All of this going on and here we are bickering about waves, wakes, erosion, calling each other names, on the busiest board in the state. My friends, waves, wakes,speed, noise, or erosion has anything to do with this bill.
CatBoat you are going to make more money than you've ever made. Tell me I'm wrong. Just swing by Silver Hill and Stillwaters and Chucks and see all the condos that are being built. Also check out the river bridge developement. More later. I'm tired. Peace.
