Without clearly thinking it through I omitted some facts about the rain that falls directly on the Lake Martin area and it impact. All these developers that strip the land of it's trees and lay the land bare then sod grass and spray with herbacides and pesticides in order that someone would have a place to " get-a-way " from it all and enjoy nature allow the rain to wash all this poison into the lake to kill and desease the fish and let our kids swim in it and suffer health problems later on from it, do they care what they are doing$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$?

Each and every house that goes up now strips the land bare. I was out in the boat yesterday looking for the beautiful " elephant leaf magnolia tree " and found that some stupid developer and future home owner had cut several of these trees down. This tree grows naturally in the wild and has the biggest leaf and flower in the south and US.

Wait until Russell gets through with Chimney Rock Island.
