First off, there is little I detest more than a user on this Forum posting with multiple aliases. In my opinion it is deceitful, and the only reason it is done. Oh yes, it occurs and has been going on for as long as I have been a member of the Forum.

All I will say is if a poster is doing so, it will eventually catch up with you. If you are caught or even suspected, you loose all respectability on the Forum and that is the credibility of both parties from either side of a debate of an issue.

Several years back there was a rather distasteful and inflammatory situation on the Forum. The real Forum Manager acknowledged to the various parties, with out revealing privacy information, the fact there were some parties using up to five separate aliases that he was able to identify. That is not saying he could determine them all.

It happens and possible could still be happening. If you doubt the above, then ask Lakeman and the old lakebum. In fact, I think RR can attest to it. I mention only a few of the many that know. The established handles on this Forum are well know and respected to some degree because they have never been suspect to this type deceit.

Oh the horrors we could tell you about the days before registration. It took some of us a lot of pushing and posting to get registration into effect. Before then it was truly the shoot out at the OK Corral, and no none names to place on the tombstones. RIP.
