I wonder if I can afford a party. It could be a tail gate party out of the back of my 1998 Ford F-150. It is currently loaded with 12 ceiling fans and other light fixtures for the next trip down. Seems you can not get anything in the Lake area at a reasonable cost.

I have had to go all over to get flooring and appliances (Montgomery to Mobile). The retailers in the Lake Martin area think we are gushing money.

I gather there have been too many riches to be had from the Ridge. I certainly do not mind a reasonable profit, but it can get ridiculous. ($9,000.00 for a single back door as an example).

Others can disagree, but dang it.

Terry Henley and others have had major parties on our end of the Lake. I just hope I can get and invitation to one of them.
