We use the public ramp at the Kowaliga Bridge on Hwy 63 year around, nice ramp and parking is not to bad either. We went out Saturday, it was beautiful, lots of boats out too, and as someone else said, lots of beach areas to play on, we had a blast and will continue to all summer long.
