say Lady and I agree. Please rephrase one part of your post. You are most likely disgusted with the political appointees in the Pentagon. There are a lot of Military and Civil Servant working long and uncompensated hour in the Pentagon supporting our troops. Just ride by the Pentagon any hour of the day or night or day of the week and see the cars filling the parking lot at the Pentagon.. Our various Training and Doctrine Commands along with the Logistics and Personnel commands are working very hard to support our troops with eveything they can get to them. There is a lot of R&D work for future support systems being cut just to support the war on terrorism or fund the current battle zones. The military soldiers, equipment and quality of technology developent is becomin a hollow Army very quickly. Not only is it happening with the regular forces but it is happening with the reserve forces and National Guards. We can take young American recruits and have them fully trained and headed to Iraq in less than 6 months. We can not get the local Iraqi force armed, trained, or capable of fighing after four years of training.
