Trophy Husband here - We have a 2006 Yamaha high output waverunner (160 HP) that is running poorly. We last used the machine three weeks ago and it ran fine. When we fired the machine up this weekend, it makes a low pitched rumble and only seems to get up to 2/3 power. The waverunner is equipped with a "low rpm" switch for first time riders - - but this is not engaged. We filled up the gas tank - - thinking that perhaps the gas in the tank was bad or had accumulated some water over the three weeks we were gone. This did not help. Checked oil and all fluids. Also, there does not appear to be anything in the intake grill. Before we take it to the dealer....any suggestions? Thank you
