I posted here several weeks ago about advice on eating out there. Lots of good advice, and the winner was Dock's, for really, really good fried fish/shrimp/oysters, and onion rings that you could actually bite off without pulling out the rest of the ring and losing the crust.
Cobalt's (under Perdido Bridge) was also good, if you want to wear shoes and a non-wife-beater shirt.

Side Note: Late afternoon on the balcony enjoying an adult beverage and approaching sunset, the Blue Angels in tight formation came down the beach and turned back toward Pensacola NAS. Right after the Angels passed, a vivid rainbow formed in the SE sky and stayed in place for maybe 15 minutes.
Very moving combination.
