excellent post. Very helpful for people like me that love boats but don't know how they work.
You asked for article suggestions:
How about a series of posts about checklists? Ones that we could print out and keep in the boat. Like:
1. Starting up procedures for an i/o (not after winterization, but a common Saturday AM) 2. Ditto #1 for inboard & outboard 3. Shutting down an i/o, i, and o motors 4. Storing gas - dos and don'ts 5. Top 3 ways to ruin a small outboard motor 6. 3 Motor Maintenance Jobs that anyone can perform
