I don't get to fish lake martin often, but i have found a chance to get onto the north end of the lake for a couple days near the 20th. could anyone give me any tips or advise for bass of catfish on that part of the lake? baits, locations, or anything else would be appreciated.

I don't get to bass fish much but catching a few cats isn't hard. I hook 'em off my dock using a variety of baits including stink bait, chicken livers and hot dogs. Get a pack of the cheapest hot dogs you can find, and cut them into 1" long pieces. I set out poles with a bobber and treble hook and can usually catch several each day. Good luck.

For catfish, I have the best luck with chicken livers. Bass fishing I use plastics. I dont fish very much when it is cold, though
