I have to confess that I love homemade bread, but mostly I stick to Julia Child's recipe for french loafs.

Anyone here turn out a superior loaf?

Me & my Zojirushi :-) What recipe do you use?

Julia's French Bread recipe in her "the Way to Cook" book. It's too long to type out here.

Do you actually bake in your machine or do you just do the kneading in it?
Are you familiar with the King Arthur Flour website.  They make some great mixes for bread.

Hmmm.  I still have my bread machine... maybe I should break it out.

both. The Zo makes up a really good loaf of bread. It also makes a good roll dough that I use for dinner rolls & other stuff. It also makes a really good pizza dough. Supposedly it has a pre-programmed a French dough cycle in the custom option but I have never used it.
