Last ditch effort to buy votes? Think about it. All summer we have heard about higher corn prices because of world drought etc. And what makes ETOH? Corn. So we get higher food prices and they get votes.
BTW there is not as much energy in the ethanol bond as cracked petroleum so guess what happens to your gas mileage? Guess what happens to your petroleum consumption?
