Headed to Pittsburgh tomorrow morning for the AFC Champioship game.  Will be cold but doesn't look snowy.  Pittsburgh has their hands full with the Jets but I am still optimistic.  Need to win the turnover contest and put lots of pressure on Sanchez.  Key to the game for the Jets will be their ability to run the ball and stop the Steeler's receivers.  I am thinking a low scoring game but that's what I said about the Ravens game. Either way I think it will be a great game to watch.......

As for the NFC, I am thinking the Packers have the edge but it will be in Chicago and the weather is going to be ugly.  Will slow Rogers and their offense.

How about Steelers-Packers Super Bowl in Dallas?  That's a nostalgic matchup worth watching.

I thought it was going to be a blow out based on the first half.  I am glad the steelers won ... but they were lucky considering they never scored in the second half.

had a few buddies up there tell me that it didn't feel like 10 degrees.  Great win especially with a makeshift O-line, Ben having a subpar game and D backs getting torched in the second half.  For those Roman numeral experts, why is 45 written XLV and not VL?

Wow, what a great time and was happy with the outcome but not the second half.  We cannot have a half like that against Green Bay and expect to win.  Losing Pouncey was a big blow to an already beleaguered offensive line.  As for the cold, it did not seem too bad mostly because there was no wind where we were sitting.  The guy I went with was also there for the Baltimore game and he said it was much colder because of the wind.  Heinz Field is a great venue to watch a football game.  Not a bad seat in the entire stadium.  We were in the upper level, maybe 20 rows back on about the 20 yard line.

As for the game, it was like last week in that it was two entirely different games in one.  They looked unstoppable in the first half and faltered mightily in the 2nd.  Best half of defense I have seen all year from the Steelers helped a lot by the offense staying on the field for more than 3 and out.  Jets did a great job of adjusting on both sides of the ball and gave us a scare.  Remarkable how few Jets fans were at the game.  We had 3 or 4 in our entire section and they were quiet most of the game.

On to Dallas.  I was actually hoping for Chicago as the Packers play AFC style football.  I think it will be a great Super Bowl.  Packers are favored by 2 1/2, I thin mostly because of Pittsburgh's offense being so lackluster.  Can't say that I blame them although our being a #2 seed and the Packers being #6 should count for something.  Pittsburgh is also very hard to beat in a playoff game and have only lost 1 of the 7 Super Bowls they have been in.  Now if I only had $5K for a ticket.  :-)
