Thanks for all the information. Tuesday is the first day of the month tho and that is the biggest day of the month for my business so, I will have to miss this one. I have called everyone possible, searched the net, I even found the guy on 49N near Freds Cabinet Shop that sells honey to Sue Bee but, the No Trespassing signs every 25 feet have me spooked. I called and left him a message.

Jacksons Gap is suppose to have an Association but, he hasnt returned calls either. I am beginning to wonder what kind of people raise bees. Anyway, I,m sure my luck will get better and I wont give up.

I have a place I can buy the hives etc. but I also need to place an order for the bees quick.

Thanks, any help is surely thankful...

Worked with a guy from Hilliard Florida who raised bees, very good at it.  He was contacted to supply/work the bees for the movie fried green tomatoes . He thought they were nuts told them to get lost .  Very knowledgeable  Bobby Rowell, Hillard Florida should be in phone book , country boy.

Thanks,
I found a guy in Tallapoosa County that will have my bees ready in April. I am attending a beekeeping class at Auburn University Saturday and will either order my hives and supplies there or come back home Saturday and order them. Either way I am the new BeeBoy in town... lol

    Thanks for your feedback
