First of all, there seem to be a lot of edits in this man's rant. Second of all, I can't help but wonder if Niall Ferguson had visions of a political appointment that didn't materialize. As far as I can tell, he is just as a__ with an opinion. The truth is that it is too early to tell whether Obama "failed" in Egypt. We did not orchestrate the uprising in Egypt and it is still playing out. The only failure I can see if that the Administration commented at all on a rapidly evolving situation. And maybe still another failure of our intelligence community. But, Congress is going to cut those jobs anyway, aren't they?

Time will tell ... the full version is on YouTube if you want to see what was cut out ... but it was all BS from the woman interviewing him. This was on your favorite show "morning Joe" so I thought you may have seen the original.

His is a Harvard professor ... that does not make him smarter than others ... but I do respect his intelligence from what is typically a very liberal school in their view on things.

I guess time will tell if he is right. But I don't think you can argue that Obama had zero foriegn policy experience and did align himself with 2nd rate advisors. This is true in his whole cabinet. At least initially. Some of his recent appointments have been better.

Aside from Obama's policy decisions and direction that I disagree with, his lack of experience and the Chicago mob he brought in has contibuted to the mess we are in.

I am axiously awaiting the jobs report this morning ... I am hopeful it will be good. At least I am praying it will be to help some of the people that have been unemployed for so long due to Obama and the dems lack of leadership by being focused on all the wrong things rather than the one thing that would fix many other problems. It has been sad and painful the last 3 years.
