We have a home in the Preserve. My husband is down there now, trying to get access. Called a neighbor, hopefully he will be able to see the neighborhood. I will report back as soon as he calls. Heard that Murray Road had a lot of downed trees and power lines and emergency vehicles late last night. Also heard the boardwalk neighborhood (end of Stoney Ridge Rd) is devastated. :( Will update here ASAP.

We have a house in The Preserve. Green house in the cove for sale. Our real estate agent has been by via boat. 34 is blocked. The tornado barely missed The preserve - veered off at the split at Murray Road and Stoney Ridge Road. Not sure how close it got to the houses at the back gate. We have been told power, phones and cell phones are out. Power possibly out for a week or more.

Smitty, You may not be able to get to our neighborhood. I hear 34 is closed off from 34/49 intersection. Police are not letting anyone go up 34. And, I've heard 49 is blocked going into Dadeville. It may be a day or so before you can get in.

stay put for today. I JUST hung up phone from Real Estate Agent. She managed to get into our neighborhood and walk it. Debris in the pool. Some tree damage. Seems most of the neighborhood received little damage. She did not make it out to the big houses on entrance points to cove - Tiernans, Petrylos, but she thinks they are fine. she has said that emergency responders are conducting search and rescue missions all through 34 - M/G, Susannah crossing. They do not want anyone in the area and are not allowing people through. We are in PTC - hubby works downtown ATL. Feel free to call me and I will tell you what little I know. Right next door to us. she was there last night. here is what she said via Facebook: "Our neighborhood, as far as I could see, just minor issues! Some trees down. Pool a mess. I picked up the trash. Pulled the wood out of the pool. It is longleaf that really got it! Kelly's heating and air gone! Power lines down for miles! Trees twisted in half!"

Can you get to wildwood road off of 34 or do you know if cr34 is closed?

As I understand, you cannot get through to wildwood on 34 until probably tomorrow or day after. I think authorities have blocked travel on 34 from about Holiday Shores or so.

Hi Ti Anna! I think we met once or twice. (Glenda Harris) We live on Stonehouse Rd, near the back gate. The homes there are intact, we lost a tree but did not hit house. Dave was stopped at the 34/49 intersection but was able to get through to the neighborhood with help of a friend/neighbor. They want to see proof that you have a home before letting you through. Dave said they want a driver's license. Of course, many live out of state and so that would not help. ?? Anyway, he got in and is just stunned with the devastation all around the Preserve but we seem to have been spared. A lot of people are going to need a lot of prayers and help in coming days. Homes, business just wiped out. Very tragic. I'll reply to the person wondering if they should come down. If he can show he has a home down 34, they should let him through. Glad you guys are safe and your home not hit.

See my response to DD. My husband WAS able to get through to our home in the Preserve. They wanted to see a driver's license to prove you own a home in there before letting you down 34. (He only has a Georgia license but with help of a friend/neighbor, was able to get access.) You should be able to get in to check your property.
