A reporter for the Montgomery Advertiser called me and asked me to be their guide tomorrow to gather interviews and pics for news coverage. They feel that our area is not getting much attention and would like to change that.
I figure this may be a great way to get some help, both from people and from relief organizations, to the greater Lake Martin area.
Do you have a storm story you would like to share?
Please contact me at john at coleyre dot com or 334 221 5862
We are starting at the 9 AM worship service at Church in the Pines and then working our way northeast, planning to end up at Highway 34 / Dadeville after lunch. We may not be able to cover everyone, I will just have to see what they want once we start, but I think if I have an "inventory" of people to call we can get them some good coverage.
Again, our goal here is to spotlight the need for help. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I've never done anything like this so I'm just doing my best here.
