We were there Friday and Saturday and it was very quiet on our end. Could be the rain kept a lot of people away. I know our schools don't get out for summer until lunch on Wednesday. There are kids in our area still playing ball also. I think we need to just start praying for pretty weekends. This rain every weekend is keeping a lot of people away.

Chucks was hopping Friday night. However the ride home was not so good. Heavy rain and no moon light or GPS made the trip home a little difficult.

Boating picked up a bit on Sunday at Wind Creek. We were able to provide 21 vessel safety checks out of 27 boats that put in. That's not counting the number of boats that left the marina. With water levels high and the amount of debris on the water it combined for a slow weekend. Things pick up dramatically this weekend, however.

Everyone be safe out there! Currents are strong, debris is everywhere, and water levels are as high as I've seen them in a very long time.
