Can anyone give a quick lesson on posting pics using an iPad. I don't want a URL redirect, just want to sometimes post a pic or 2 directly on a post. Also cannot post pics from the iPad after setting up a classified. Help please!

The button selector to upload photos is not supported on the iPad. It will work on an Android and of course any PC browser. I've looked into it in the past and didn't find a solution. That was a couple years ago. I will look again, but this is a known problem.

Is there some reason why we should not post pix on the Forums?? Too much data or something? I have had the feeling that the process for posting pix is guarded or discouraged, and have not responded to requests for help. LNG taught me the trick and I am grateful, because otherwise I was lost.

I encourage posting pics to the forum, although I admit it is not easy or intuitive. We designed the photo upload process on this site to accommodate paid ads (Business Ads, Rentals, Real estate) as well as free classifieds and the photo gallery section. We added a comment ability a few years back to the gallery so those comments will show up in the forum. What we never got around to doing was making it easy to upload a photo when creating a forum post. The "Insert Image" button on the post page toolbar allows you to ad an image to a post, but only if the image already exists on the web somewhere.
It is my desire to improve the forum and extend features on it and make member accounts the central hub and base of content for the site. We have experienced unprecedented growth this year and are in the process of hardware upgrades and moving to a new data center. Although the site may not appear different, there is a lot of work going on in the background. When we complete infrastructure changes we can turn our focus back on code-based improvements.
I thank all you folks for continued support. Some great things are on the horizon.

Just do not enhance it too much, too fast,,OK? Just today I went from a Flip-Phone to an S3,,, and I am on info overload.
