Many thanks to the more than 600 people who packed into the BCG Auditorium to voice their opinions to FERC about their desire for the three foot winter lake level increase and the six week extension of the summer lake level. Several state and local elected officials spoke in favor of APCo's proposal, as well as many organizations around the lake and many individuals. One downstream county commissioner/landowner, one attorney, and one upstream homeowner spoke against the APCo proposal, everyone else was in favor.

Now we need to move to the next phase of our effort to support higher water. Everyone in favor of higher water should file an eComment on the ferc.gov website. This must be done before August 13, and we will have more information available soon about the process. If you want to go ahead and file you will be asked for the project number. The project number is P-349-173. It must be typed exactly as shown.
