I'm sure this has been discussed before, but can't find it with the search function.  I'm going Dish next month, TV and internet, I need some input re:  VOIP phone providers.  Phone Power gets great reviews, Magic Jack does alot of advertising, etc.  What's your experience?  Thanks.

Use a google voice number and a OBIHAI accessory which costs $37. Free service for as long as Google allows voice numbers. They have said though 2013 for sure.

I use the Magic jack Plus connected to Charter. Works Great. Get the Plus so you do not have to connect it to your computer.

I use magicjack with Dish Network. Get a 5 year plan with MJ... Its cheap... You can port numbers now but that cost extra. I just got a new number because every calls our cell phones anyway... Let me know how it goes... Use my email and you will get a referral discount I think... daburglar@hotmail.com

I've used this device with success for about a year now. It's not VOIP because it utilizes Verizon's cell network but it works great.
