An uninvited visitor came on my property last week and stole the battery from our ski boat.
We are on Black Acres Road near Woods Surfside Marina.
Anyone else out there with a similar incident?

We were notified that betwen 8/8/2013 and 8/24/2013 three Duralast Marine batteries were stolen from a boat that was stored at the Rick Inn Estates boat launch.

Not me. We are a private residence and the boat was on it's trailer.
Any suggestions for securing a battery to make theft more difficult?

Set up something the punk has to go through that will make a loud racket when he runs into it or has to move it to get to the goods. A friend of mine has set up a game camera that snaps pics when there is motion - Deterrent no - but evidence - YES -

Any noise maker usually scares thieves away because of how quiet it is around the water.
