My opinion now.
East side of lake and Dadeville--
Only consistent places are Poplar Dawgs, Niffers, and La Posada.
Another has good shrimp, but nothing else that's consistent on menu.
The secret to a good place to eat, that dam sure ain't no secret--
Good consistent items on the menu. Cooked right, seasoned right, and
fresh. (real cold beer, too) (again good and CONSISTENT)
Good service with no real long waits, courteous employees, and somewhat practical prices.
It ain't astrophysics..

How can you list Niffers but not Oskars? Niffers is consistant, straight from freezer to fryer. They do OK burgers but Oskars beater them hands down, even on the burgers INHO. True Niffers has great ambiance, but I can't eat ambiance.

Oskars has friendly service. I've had bigtime problems on the others mentioned.
We ate there for 3 years and then things went downhill.
