Ok, this is gonna come off as a shameless plug maybe and I really don't mean it to be. But.

The flooding this week caught a lot of us off guard. I'm a part timer these days but I happened to be here and it still happened faster than I expected. But there are 2 excellent ways to get very accurate information emailed to you in a very timely manner.

1. There is a setting on this website that will send you email alerts to any water level you set for it to alert you. Either to floods or drought conditions. I will try to find the exact link and post it following this.

2. And this is the shameless part, become a member of the Logan Martin Lake Protection Association (LMLPA). They do great work keeping our members informed on lake conditions as well as other events happening around our lake. Our leadership works constantly with APCO to know the real deal as to whats happeneing around the lake. Well worth your $25 a year. There's a Facebook page as well.

And don't be surprised if the water goes back down to follow the rule curve that APCO and the COE have established. I agree, it would be nice if we we,could just hang on to the full lake we have now but....

Now,,let me go see if I can find that link.

Peace,

<><

I can't paste the link on my iPad but it's easy to find. On the home page of this site there's the lake level. Click it and you will see the level alert page. You can set it up there.
