US Ameribank in Alex City when we closed in June.  They are formerly Aliant Bank.  This is the 3rd lake house we've bought and the 3rd time we have used them.  Ask for Kevin Speake, he was great!  Good luck!

Have never used them, but Home Place Mortgage on Cherokee Rd in Alex City advertises that they have experience with Lake property mortgages.

i just retired with 41 years in the mortgage &  business but still consult with clients on best deals  ; & I live here also; just reviewed a Good faith Estimate for a borrower going through an out of state  lender & I save them $4000.00; email me if you want
