Subject:	Thefts on Boat docks

This past weekend we came to our lake house for the weekend in the area of the Castle and our nieghbor said that he saw the corner of our boat cover was undone and open. All items were still there, so I thought. Then I realized the next morning that my wife's wakeboard was missing that we put on boat the weekend prior. They skipped over $600 worth of surf boards and several life vests. Obviously the were only looking for wake boards. 

Anyone else having any issues of thefts in this area off the water, our house was broken into around this time last year also. Nothing was taken though, which is odd. It seems our cove has become a hot spot for surfing and hanging out later in the evening when the water calms down. Boats have been creeping along the boat docks slowly more and more. We are new to the area last year and 2 occurances of this matter has me concerned.

Been here 12 years and only problems have been on tne three major holidays. I think it's visitors to the lake. had a prop stolen and apparently they got several  others also a few years back. Other than that had a pull behind stolen I think it's probably kids just taking and then abandoning when they leave.
